Would you like to live in Jämijärvi or one of the neighboring municipalities?

The Wonderful Awful Countryside event on Saturday, September 13, 2025, presents the countryside in autumn just as it is.

The places to visit will be open throughout the day across the region – in the municipalities of Jämijärvi, Ikaalinen, Kankaanpää, Karvia, Kihniö, Merikarvia, Parkano, Pomarkku, and Siikainen. Admission to the event sites and housing exhibitions is free.

The Wonderful Awful Countryside project is being implemented by the cooperation project managed by Leader Pohjois-Satakunta. The project aims to develop the vitality of the region in Northern Satakunta and Northwestern Pirkanmaa in collaboration with municipalities and cities. The project is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and will run from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2026.
