A memorial to the mother of music advisor Lasse Pihlajamaa
In 1975, music advisor Lasse Pihlajamaa (1916–2007) built a memorial to his mother in Palokoski, Jämijärvi, on the site of his birthplace. In his opinion, the mother was his great hero, who was able to take care of her family in difficult circumstances, despite poverty, disease and violence.
