Beach by the lake in Mielahti
Mielahti beach consists of wonderfully soft sand from the ridge. The water is shallow near the shore, making the beach well-suited for families with children. However, parents are encouraged to remain vigilant, because the water gets a lot deeper after a while. A cold brook with clear water from a spring runs into the lake, which is ideal if you want a cool dip. Mielahti is a good place to start off with your SUP board or canoe into the water.
There is also a barbecue shelter for preparing snacks in Mielahti. Please note that you must bring your own firewood. The beach has a dressing room and a dry toilet. It is important to note that the beach is not lifeguarded.
