Events in Jämi and the surrounding areas are displayed in the Jämi events calendar. Events are imported to the calendar via the Satakunta Events interface. Events are also automatically displayed in the events calendar of the city of Pori and in the Satakunnan Kansa paper’s Menokone.
Event organisers themselves enter their events into the event database and manage their own event data in the system.
We highlight events on Jämi’s social media channels before, during and after events.

The need for notices and permits for roadside advertising for events and occasions depends on the nature of the events, the characteristics of the advertisements and the intended locations. The ELY Centre’s Opasteapuri tool can help you find out how to deal with roadside advertising in each situation.
A temporary notice of a meeting, information, entertainment, wedding or similar event, or a social, political or other non-profit event may be placed on a road without a notification or authorisation procedure, but the person placing the notice must comply with the regulations of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom).
For advertisements to be placed in the Jämijärvi central area for more than one month, permits are applied for from the municipality’s department of technical services via the Lupapiste service.
The material bank on the Jami.fi website offers a downloadable database of images, logos and other materials for Jämi-related communication.
