Water supply and sanitation
Domestic water
The area is served by Jämijärvi Water Cooperative’s trunk water main. The water cooperative provides advice on water supply.
The operator must submit a report on the supply of domestic water during the event to the City of Kankaanpää Environmental Services Health Inspection authority. If, due to the size of the event, a new/temporary water supply network will be installed in the area, the quality of the water must be verified before the start of the activity. The taking of water samples, quantities and sampling points must be agreed with the health inspection authority.
Waste water
The area is served by the sewerage system of the municipality of Jämijärvi. Jämijärvi municipality department of technical services provides advice on wastewater issues.
Jämi is located in the Hämeenkangas groundwater area. In a groundwater area, not even infiltration of treated wastewater into the soil is allowed. Wastewaters must be channelled outside the groundwater area or collected in a leakproof container and transported away from the groundwater area.
Waste management
Properties in the Jämi area each have their own waste management systems and keys to the Molok waste containers in the area. Event organisers may use the waste containers of the facilities they rent. If the event organiser does not rent facilities from Jämi, or if the event generates a lot of waste, the event organiser is responsible for waste management during and after the event. Washrooms and toilet facilities
There are several dressing rooms, washrooms, saunas and toilet facilities available for events in the Jämi area.
Portable toilets and washingrooms
A notification of portable public toilets and temporary washing and sauna facilities must be submitted well in advance to the City of Kankaanpää Environmental Services Health Inspection authority. The notification must include information on the supply of washing water, the cleaning of premises and surfaces, and the disposal of waste water.

Maintenance of roads and car parks
The municipality of Jämijärvi is responsible for the maintenance of asphalt roads and car parks in Jämijärvi. The municipality buys maintenance services from local contractors.
If event organisers need snow ploughing, sanding, etc. in other areas, they must order the services themselves from contractors at their own cost.
