Aviation history of Jämi
Jämi Aviation Heritage Room presents the airfield’s history since the 1930s. The first course of the Jämi Gliding School was organized in the summer of 1935. The exhibition space is dominated by the Harakka II glider built according to the model of the 1940s.
The Heritage Room will be open during the summer of 2026 during Loimu Gallery’s opening hours, from June 13 through August 30, Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Guided tours must be booked through the municipality’s facility reservation service (Tilavarauspalvelu Asio).
