Korsuretket Oy will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the Jämi Arena facilities going forward. According to Aku Autio, Mayor of Jämijärvi, the goal is to improve the utilization rate of the Arena.
“The key objective of the collaboration is to improve the utilization rate of the Jämi Arena and increase customer flows to Jämi. The events held at the Arena have a positive impact on the economy of Jämi and the surrounding region. Customers also leave an economic footprint on other businesses, and local operators can utilize the Arena for their own events.”
Sanni Luomahaara, CEO of Korsuretket Oy, sees potential in Jämi Arena.
“Jämi Arena offers an excellent setting for events and occasions of various types and sizes. The facilities are suitable for both large and small meetings, various celebrations, and sports activities. Jämi has accommodation capacity for several hundred people.”

According to Samuli Aholanranta, chair of the municipal council, the municipality intends to develop Jämi in the coming years.
“We have applied for a JTF -funded project to develop the event infrastructure in Jämi. The aim is to improve accessibility, usability of facilities and the area, and other aspects. Currently, the playground between the Arena and the Lomahotelli Jämi and the surrounding area are being renovated in Jämi.”

Jämi Arena enables many kinds of synergies to be realized in the area and benefits both customers and local businesses.”
